Who We Are
The Northern Nevada EMS Consortium (NNEMSC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the health, resilience, and sustainability of rural emergency medical services and first responders throughout Northern Nevada.
NNEMSC works to strengthen rural Fire, EMS, dispatch, healthcare partners, and the communities they serve, while also helping ensure rural emergency care systems remain strong, connected, and sustainable.
The organization is governed by a local Board of Directors made up of Northern Nevada citizens and professionals, ensuring the work remains community-driven, locally informed, and responsive to real regional needs.
Our Mission
The Northern Nevada EMS Consortium strengthens rural emergency medical systems by supporting first responders, expanding education and training opportunities, advancing mental health and resiliency initiatives, and fostering collaboration among emergency care leaders to improve care for the communities they serve.
To support Northern Nevadans who rely on emergency medical services by:
• Strengthening rural EMS, Fire, and health systems
• Advancing mental health and resiliency programs
• Expanding access to education and training
• Identifying gaps in rural emergency medical systems
• Supporting collaboration among emergency care leaders
